Product Description

Stord E2K series proximity sensors are high - performance products. The detection distance is 0-10mm when in a non - flush - mounting one. They can meet the needs of various industrial automation and detection applications, and are widely applied in the fields of industrial automation and mechanical equipment.

 

Wide detection range: It can detect metals as well as some non-metallic substances, including non-metallic objects such as water and plastic. 
Adjustable sensitivity: Some models can adjust the sensitivity of detection distance according to actual application requirements through settings on the sensor or software.

 

Based on the principle of electrostatic capacitance detection, the sensing surface of the sensor and the ground or other objects to be detected form a capacitor. When an object approaches, it changes the dielectric constant or the spacing between the plates of the capacitor, leading to a change in capacitance. The approach of an object is determined by detecting the change in capacitance.
